Zoning By-Laws are the primary companion documents to the Development Plan and Secondary Plans. Zoning By-Laws are the means by which the municipal Council will carry out the intent of the Development Plan for land use and development purposes. This is done through specific regulations and standards, for matters ranging from permitted and conditional land uses within each zone, building setback requirements, lot area and width requirements, site coverage requirements, sign and fencing requirements, and much more.

The South Interlake Planning District is comprised of four municipalities (Rockwood, Rosser, Stonewall, Teulon), each of which have their own Zoning By-Law.

Note: the below excerpts from the four municipal Zoning By-Laws are provided for convenience only. To confirm zoning regulations for a particular property, please contact the SIPD office directly.
